Parijaat Kanhai
Parijaat Kanhai was born and brought up in Vrindavan. She grew up by seeing her grandfather and father playing with brushes, colours and canvases. So naturally, since childhood, she didn’t pick toys instead chose a brush to play with. Her inclination towards art made her choose this profession.
She learned strokes from her father, Govind Kanhai, who has been respected with many prestigious awards in the world of art.
She is an artist who sees art as a part of her heart. Surrounded by the air of devotion and love, she picked art to show her passion and dedication. She did jewellery designing from Jaipur.
She mastered the art of designing and started to use it in her artwork. Her seed of creativity was her vision for designing by which she created a unique slant.
Her artwork depicts the two most vital things love and equality, which the world lacks. A Journey of an artist, who changed herself by making art, now possess a desire to bring forward that change. She wanted to make the world a better place, and in this war, art is her weapon, where she will win it all.
Her canvas undergoes many changes and layers before the masterpiece is out. She is an expressionist, so until her true feelings don’t depict on the canvas, the art is always a work in progress. Her paintings are more of an allegory, it always contains a message for the society. Breaking every notion and traditional belief, she is blunt and bold on the canvas. She wants to break that veil
She never felt tired by staring at those blank canvases, because she knew that her imagination would put colours on them. She loved portraying Lord Krishna through her imagination, when she paints Lord Krishna, she becomes the magician, and he the magic.
The world has taken a turn by accepting abstract art where the unjustifiable figures justify the painting. Her impromptu thoughts led her to create some masterpieces of surrealism.

Around 60 years back, a new face of art was invented by Padamshree Around 60 years back, a new face of art was invented by Padamshree Kanhai Chitrakar, who started making gold paintings at Vrindavan. Every piece of art was invaluable and royal as semi-precious stones and pure gold leaf made it. Kanhai Arts portrayed their imagination by adorning it on the walls of the houses of corporate leaders like Ambani, Birla, Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Political leaders like LK Advani, Indira Gandhi, Amar Singh, SankarDayal Sharma etc.
Each painting took time as it was made with meticulous care and love. Kanhai art has increased their horizons to a much broader audience where these works were new and therefore was accepted. The paintings were cherished so much that they were appointed the alcoves of the houses of the corporate and the art lovers. Over the last six decades, the Kanhai arts has made thousands of paintings.
